Friendly fire saves Barcelona from Sporting Lisbon trap

Barcelona won a 1-0 win at Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday at the Jose Alvaldi Stadium in the second round of Group D as the Champions League. 

Barcelona's Sebastian Quattas scored the equalizer in the 49th minute. 

The Catalans have 6 points, while Sporting Lisbon have 3 points, with Juventus beating Olympiakos. 

The match was not at the required level, with a clear offensive deficit for the Portuguese team, which tried to create opportunities, but to no avail. Barca did not perform very well except in some periods of the first half and the players were physically affected by successive matches with strict control against Lionel Messi, Who fasted for the scoring.

The start came quickly from both teams, especially as Lisbon made an offensive performance with fast moves from Gelson Martinez, who received a warning in the sixth minute. 

Barça did not calm down either. Messi made a serious chance for Aniste, and the Argentinian passed a fast ball that was not exploited by the Barça attack with Suarez falling into the net. 

Portugal's Fabio Quinterrao received the yellow card after a mistake against Nelson Semedo, and had a chance ahead of Lisbon, which was taken away by the Catalan defense before Messi gave an easy header in the hands of goalkeeper Patricio.
